Julie Pennington criminal defense attorney branding project
Julie Pennington approached me for her branding as a criminal defense attorney. In addition to her letterhead and business cards she wanted a folding card with an interesting image on it for client correspondence. As many of the people she works with are incarcerated, I wanted to present a design that was both engaging upon first look and also allowed space for the eye to find it's own patterns. I wanted a design that could still be new after months of viewing. We chose the wing imagery to suggest freedom and agency.
